Workflow automation software, built around your operations

Approvals, handoffs and data updates that happen on their own, so work moves between people and systems without anyone chasing it.

What workflow automation means

Workflow automation is software that carries a piece of work through its steps without manual pushing. A request is raised, routed to the right approver, checked against your rules, passed to the next team and recorded, with each person notified only when it is their turn.

Most companies run these processes on email, chat messages and shared spreadsheets. It works while the business is small. As volume grows, requests get lost, nobody can say where something is stuck, and the same data is typed into three systems by three people.

OGLAT builds workflow systems that model your real process, including the exceptions, and connect the software you already use. This is different from wiring together generic automation tools: the logic lives in a system you control, with a full history of every step.

The Problem

Where manual handoffs cost you

Approvals stuck in inboxes

A purchase or discount waits days because the approver never saw the email.

Double data entry

Staff retype the same order into sales, warehouse and accounting systems, and mistakes creep in each time.

No visibility

When a customer asks where their order is, someone has to phone three departments to find out.

Processes that depend on one person

Only one employee knows the steps, and work stops when they are on leave.

What We Build

What we build into a workflow system

Each flow is built from the same set of parts, combined to match the way a particular process runs in your business.

Approval flows

Multi-level approvals with thresholds, delegation and escalation when a step waits too long.

Task routing

Work assigned automatically by role, branch, workload or any rule your process needs.

Cross-system sync

Data passed between your ERP, CRM, accounting and other tools, so it is entered once.

Status tracking

A live view of where every request, order or job stands, and who holds it now.

Notifications & alerts

Messages sent to the right person at the right step, and alerts when something passes its deadline.

Audit history

A permanent record of each step, decision and change, ready for review or compliance.

How We Work

How a workflow project runs

  1. 01

    Trace the real process

We follow actual requests from start to finish, including the shortcuts and exceptions that never made it into the written procedure.

  2. 02

    Agree the rules

Who approves what, at which value, within how long, and what happens when they don't.

  3. 03

    Automate one flow first

We pick a single high-volume process, automate it end to end and measure the difference before extending to others.

  4. 04

    Integrate and extend

Further flows and system connections are added one at a time, each on the same foundation.

Who It's For

Where this fits best

  • Operations teams coordinating sales, warehouse and finance
  • Companies with multi-level purchase or credit approvals
  • Businesses running several systems that don't talk to each other
  • Teams where order status is a daily question

FAQ

Questions we hear most

Which processes are worth automating first?

Start with processes that are frequent, follow clear rules and cross more than one team. Purchase approvals, order fulfilment, customer onboarding and leave requests are common first choices because the steps are stable and the volume is high.

How is this different from tools like Zapier or Make?

Those tools are good for simple links between popular apps. A custom workflow system suits processes with complex rules, approvals, exceptions and audit requirements, or processes that involve in-house systems those tools cannot reach. The logic sits in software you own instead of a chain of third-party automations.

Do we have to replace our current systems?

No. Workflow automation usually sits on top of what you have. We connect to existing systems through their APIs or data exports and automate the movement of work between them.

What happens when a case doesn't fit the rules?

Exceptions are designed in. A flow can route unusual cases to a named person for a manual decision, and that decision is recorded like every other step.

Can we see where work is getting stuck?

Yes. Because every step is timestamped, the system shows how long each stage takes and where requests pile up, which tells you where to improve the process itself.
